Fishing tactics: Watch for birds over bait or use your sounder to check out rips and banks for staged stripers in 10-25' of water.
My fly fishing tip of the week: If you see fish feeding on the surface this time of year it usually indicates a bigger feed is taking place deep and the stripers are chasing bait to the surface from down there.
My spin fishing tip of the week: Use soft plastics on jigheads work great along the channel edges during low tide.
7 day outlook: Hot and humid with a week cold front coming through on Wednesday night cooling things off.
