Directions: How to Find Obsession Charters in Maine
We are located at the Kennebec Tavern and Marina, 119 Commercial Street, Downtown Bath. [ Directions ] Pick-up and drop off by Capt. Dave can be arranged at any local accommodations should others in your group choose to spend time shopping or sightseeing while you're fishing.
What to Bring: No fishing liceses required. All fishing gear is provided but you can bring your own. Bring a light jacket / raincoat, sunscreen and sunglasses. If you’re prone to motion sickness take your medication well before offshore charters depart. If at all possible, please do not wear black soled shoes or boots; they really mark up the deck of the boat, thank you.
What NOT to bring: Even though the state of Maine has legalized both medicinal and recreational marijuana the Federal Government has not. You will be fishing on a federally licensed and regulated vessel therefore you cannot bring recreational or medicinal marijuana (or any othe illegal drug) onboard. My USCG license and livelihood will be in jeopardy if you do so. And if boarded by the Coastguard, you could be charged with a federal crime if you have it with you. If you must medicate do so prior to getting onboard the obsession. Thank you for your understanding.
Tipping: Obsession Charters considers tipping optional and at your sole discretion. If you had an enjoyable time while on your charter, a tip will be graciously accepted but certainly not in any way expected.
