For those of you who have an older boat (or an ancient one as I do) here's a product you might want to try – Woody Wax.
My 1993 Hewes Redfisher is showing her age, the hull has only a small amount of oxidation so a deep cleaning wax twice a year shines her up just fine. But the ol' girl's nonskid topside has become faded and porous to the point that it is hard to keep clean.
Cleanup after a day of guiding is now a breeze. Fish blood and bird poop washes away with a hose and a brush stroke.
Weathered Topsides and Decks – Problem Solved
Cleanup after a day of guiding is now a breeze. Fish blood and bird poop washes away with a hose and a brush stroke. Don't let the price scare you, it's worth every penny and a bottle will last several boating seasons.
I'm not on any type of pro deal with Woody Wax, just like to share great products when I come across them. And thanks to my longtime friend and client John Albin from Key Colony Beach for turning me on to Woody Wax a few years back.
